Celebration of the work of Fishers of Men Bible Institute is about to start. I will depart late Sunday Night for 15 days!

For the first time - we have initial plans to hop islands and plant a FMBI Hub in Iloilo City - where you see the red mark by Visayas. Mindanao is the large island below. We plan to set forth the strategy with leaders from Iloilo who will meet us in Manila - our first order of business. Manila is on the North island of Luzon.

Mindanao, the largest Island of the 7,000+ islands of the Philippines is the most dangerous and we will cover from the North Central Shore line to the Southern tip, touchng the lives of hundreds of Pastors. There - you have had a Geography lesson!

As Friends and Partners you still have time to be a part of this tremendous opportunity.

Here's how you can be a big part of this effort:

  1. Commit to pray for protection, power and provision. Its no joke - ISIS has a stronghold on Mindanao. its an haven for them in S.E. Asia. We have many Pastors who live in the most remote regions of this island, near the ISIS strongholds, who are desperate to be equipped. FMBI is an answer to their prayers. Along with my team, Becher Lucia, JD and Beth Hargrave and my Assistant Girlie Penaranda, we are dedicated to reaching them with the tools to study.

  2. Give a gift today - large or small. You've got time and here's how we'll sow it. Printing materials is our priority. We have over 75 new students so along with materials, conducting Seminars and ministering to the Pastors, we always provide food. Many of them travel under adverse conditions from high on a mountainside or deep in the jungle to reach the seminar. The food and fellowship are vital to their spiritual renewal. You are familiar with the cost of overland travel and this team will travel with me covering many miles and touching many lives in a short period of time.

Your gift today will be at work next week in the field.

This is a photo from about 2012. I taught this group at 4 a.m. CDT (13 hours diference) for 3 years via Skype. 8 Graduates are now Pastors and they are the Teaching Staff on our campus school in Iligan City. For those who have partnered with us through the years - your fruit is now producing fruit! I wanted you all to know that your money leaves your hand but it never leaves your life. Thank you for giving.
